Razaaq University Consortium is committed to providing a wide range of courses, training programs and research opportunities at the frontier of knowledge in various disciplines. We envision and develop skills through quality education and lifelong learning that prepares us for the changing world.
Razaaq University Consortium is more of an independent think-tank committed to combining democratic principles with learning and evidence-based research that lead to lucrative careers, intellectual enrichment and entrepreneurial sustainable development that work for everyone and contribute to better quality of life and socio-economic progress of the society.
The extension activities include offering high-quality uppskilling, re-skilling, internship programmes and career options to students, scholars and professionals and thereby purport to develop the human resource or utilize their interpersonal and transferable skills. We can do this by democratising learning and the record of scholarship. It is also about engaging in a constructive dialogue about the challenges we face and opportunities on hand to explore new avenues of knoweldge that practise scientific temper and thereby strengthen or reform societal view of knolwledge and equity in open scholarship. In other words, ours is a democratic enterprise wherein we understand our duties and responsibilities and generate knoweldge in academia, appply it in industries and also engage with stakeholders and regulators to improve their functioning for good. This shall of course aim at social and economic prosperity keeping sustainability (climate, life cycle assessment, consumption patterns and renewability of resources) in mind. A holistic view is being developed for choosing relevant lines of research and thereby allow research groups to work in tandem with transfer of knowledge units or industries. It means, we are trying to bridge the gap between the knowledge generation and application thereof.
The Razaaq University Consortium highlights a much inclusive, participatory and experiencial learning where even failure is an opportunity and feedback is inspiring. It is therefore our utmost priority to undertake research – an intellectual enterprise for developing methods of teaching, applications of knowledge or futuristic technologies.
Founded in 2010 and registered as a charity (society & trust) in 2012, the RISER Razak Institution of Skills, Education and Research started its short courses training programmes and research activities in India and thereafter expanded but on a small scale in Sweden in 2017. There are no commercial activities conducted under the organization here and a tax-exemption was also requested for five years in Sweden. RISER launched some not-for-profit homework help sessions for students of immigratnt background and refugees at the public libraries, and manged to arrange locally classrooms at two different and prestigious high schools (gymnasiet) for a year or so before pandemic restrictions. The online sessions were held in tandem. As a scientist member of a learned society, the RISER founder started teaching language courses and learning in groups more about the Swedish society and democracy with a focus on path to employment for the delegates. He worked thereafter for two of (those nine) study Associations in Sweden, and still has an active collaboration in lifelong or adult learning (folkbildning). It was during that time when the founder president of the RISER was conducting some commercial activities in the field of teaching, mentoring, research and consultancy as a proprietary and a private limited company simultaneously and was sincerely trying to establish and merge these activities and re-register his firm as a university consortium for engaging in academia and higher education professionalism.
We plan on using and inventing modern technologies in teaching our students. We teach our students democracy and the principles of sustainability. We place lot of emphasis on interaction of students with teachers and practical interaction of students with technologies or real world application of knowledge. Futuristic technologies are among the subjects taught at the university.
One can even join the consortium as an intern or a volunteer.
